Disappointed
So, I kind of wanted to go to the Wong Fu screening tonight. I had been thinking about it on and off since I found out about it. I really wanted to see it with Nicole, but she ended up having to go home.
I even asked Rosalie to go with me, but then the tickets were pricey, and she wasn’t sure whether Lily would pay $18 to go watch it. So I told her it was okay if she didn’t go.
I was seriously thinking about going by myself. I even rearranged most of my day just to save time to go. However, I just didn’t want to get stuck in a crowd of high schoolers.
So my friend from back home said he’d go with me. We left at 8:30, getting there at 9, thinking/hoping the tickets wouldn’t sell out.
And with my luck, the last two tickets were sold to the two girls in front of us. So we drove out there for nothing. We ended up just sitting in Ten Ren for a half hour, just catching up a little before heading home.
I was seriously disappointed.
While we were going to the AMC, I was texting Nicole telling her that I would take pictures for her, since she really wanted to go to the event. Every time we planned to go to a Wong Fu event, it always eluded us somehow.
