Dear Tumblr, 

This is one of the strongest people I have ever known. She is a friend, a mentor, and the nicest person I have ever met. Janet has been battling leukemia for quite some time, and although the chemo worked last time, she needs a bone marrow transplant to save her life this time. Her brother is not a match, and there are only 7% of Asian Americans in the registry at this time.

This is a plea to the Asian American community, PLEASE JOIN THE REGISTRY TODAY,  in order to increase Janet’s chances. She needs all the help she can get!

So um… I was offered admissions after my first interview.

Big shocker….

Now I need to knock my next interview out of the park.

Sick

Frick! I think I’m getting sick.. NooooOOo I have a practical and lecture exam tomorrow =( also I have an interview this week for an optometry school. Can’t afford sickness… PERIOD

Not the same

I don’t see him the same way anymore.

Sometimes I question whether my decision to keep him in my life was the right one, because although he had said that he didn’t want me to be out of his life, it feels like I already am.

Future

I’ve secured two interviews so far, but somehow…I feel it is not enough. Why? These interviews are definitely the next step, however, it is far from being the actual acceptance to these schools.

This is such a stressful period for me. I don’t really know what to think right now.

OhMyFoodComa

After countless hours and hard work, we’ve finally got it all together!

I know that we’ve been talking about getting a domain and stuff for foodcoma, but we’ve had trouble along the way. Nicole, Justin, and I have gone back and forth about whether we wanted to continue hosting our blog here, on tumblr, or if we’d move completely to a different blog host. After a lot of debate, we’ve decided to keep our tumblr, for pictures (since most of our followers seem to enjoy our food photography more) and to link our posts to our new blog.

In the end, we made some hard decisions, put in countless hours, and worked through so many frustrating bugs, but we’ve got it together. I’m extremely excited to present to you, our new food blog:

I was browsing my facebook, when I noticed that the ads in the side were in Indonesian. Why is that?

This represents the work I put in last night, staying up until 1:30am trying to edit each individual posts, one at a time.

I had to re-upload a LOT of images for the blog, because of problems after importing.
